Where to submit a music video, and what each charges
Promonews, Directors Notes, Directors' Library and Booooooom TV, with runtime limits and eligibility windows.
Promonews charges no submission fee on its submit page. Its PRO membership is £9.99 a month, £24.99 a quarter or £99 a year and includes priority for submitted work.
Directors Notes charges £47 for work under 40 minutes and £77 for features, non-refundable, through FilmFreeway, with a response inside seven working days. Music videos are explicitly in scope.
Directors' Library requires a membership valid for twelve months, strictly non-refundable. Its eligibility is the tightest: nothing over 40 minutes, no works in progress or trailers, and only work released online in the past two months. No individual feedback; outcomes in about ten working days.
Booooooom TV takes shorts, animation and music videos for a non-refundable fee, reviewed in five business days or eight with feedback, and is currently closed for a site redesign. The fee is not displayed while closed, so we cannot quote it.
The two-month window at Directors' Library is the one that catches people. It closes faster than any award deadline on this site.
